Program Fan Zone Barfüsserplatz
In the Fan Zone Barfüsserplatz, public viewing is the main focus: All matches of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 will be broadcast live on a large LED screen.
Food trucks and bars provide fans with the necessary energy to cheer on their team loudly until the end. The Fan Zone offers tarte flambée, pasta, burgers, and ice cream – with regional and seasonal ingredients and at least 75% vegetarian options.
On seven evenings, eleven live acts bring a summer festival atmosphere to the Fan Zone Barfüsserplatz. The line-up focuses on broad stylistic diversity and a large portion of female empowerment.
On two match-free days, July 15 and July 20, 2025, the Fan Zone Barfüsserplatz transforms into an open-air cinema! Visitors can enjoy two carefully selected films under the open sky.
Trophy Exhibition “Dream of Trophies”
The Historical Museum Basel, which is directly adjacent to Barfüsserplatz, displays a high-caliber selection of national and international football trophies during the tournament month of July. Highlights include the UEFA Women’s European Championship Trophy 2025, which forms the centerpiece of the exhibition until the official award ceremony, the FC Basel championship trophy created in 1985, and the UEFA Champions League Trophy 1956. The trophy of the Women’s Streetfootball EURO 2025, a tournament organized by the association Surprise for women in difficult life situations, also sets a special sign.

That’s why the “Play & Chill” offer provides a quiet and cool retreat in the Stadtcasino, which is also directly adjacent to Barfüsserplatz. On two floors, there are listening, reading, and gaming stations that serve as a place of retreat. There will also be a photo booth for personal souvenir photos.
