The Messeplatz is located in the center of Kleinbasel. It is a meeting point for world-famous fairs such as Art Basel or the Basel Autumn Fair. During UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, Messeplatz will transform into a lively Fan Zone with activities for young and old.

How to get there
Just in time for the start of UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, the mobile playing field moves back to Messeplatz in the Fan Zone. The Soccer Court, measuring 40 by 20 meters, is available for free use by the entire population. It will also be complemented by a wheelchair-accessible tribune.
The Ball Parcours by Official Partner AXA includes eight stations with different ball sports. Visitors can playfully try out new sports. There is no age limit; everyone can participate.

It’s visible from afar: the Giant Slide. Ten meters high and curvy, it offers sliding fun for young and old. There is no minimum age for the slide.
Another highlight of the Fan Zone Messeplatz are the Water Balls. The walkable water walking balls offer a unique balance challenge in a water basin – without getting wet. The Water Balls are suitable for all children from the age of four up to a maximum of 60 kg.
The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 matches will be broadcast on several small screens in the Fan Zone Messeplatz.
In the Fan Zone Messeplatz, sponsors Lidl, Visa, Pepsi and AXA offer a varied programme for football fans. At Pepsi, visitors can enjoy refreshing drinks at the Airstream Bar, relax in the chill-out zone and be inspired by the Pepsi Freestyle shows. Those who recycle have the chance to win exclusive prizes. At the Visa stand, fans can look forward to interactive activities such as a photo mirror, digital goal shooting and delicious ice cream. Lia Wälti’s children’s book will also be available to look at or buy. AXA invites you to the Ball Parcours with around eight stations where sporting challenges centred around the ball await young and old. At the Lidl stand there will also be football darts and fresh fruit cups for refreshment.
