As part of UEFA Women’s Euro 2025, a Soccer Court was set up on the Exhibition Square. After a brief stay at the Hirzbrunnen schoolyard, the Soccer Court has been back on the Exhibition Square since early 2025, where it will remain until Art Basel in mid-June. The court can be reserved via online booking in the GotCourts app and used free of charge for recurring offers and training sessions as well as for one-time events.
The playing field, measuring 40 by 20 meters, is available for free use by the entire population. The Soccer Court can be used in various ways. Recurring offers and training sessions are possible, as are one-time events such as tournaments or camps, provided the offerings are not profit-oriented. There will also be fixed time slots for open, free play. The focus is on football; however, the court should also be a place for other polysportive sports and movement activities. The required equipment is not available on site and must be brought by users.
Reservations for the Soccer Court are made through the online booking system “GotCourts”, accessible at www.gotcourts.com or via the GotCourts app. A one-time registration on the website or in the app is required to use the “Soccer Court Basel” facility. Booking windows of 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes are available; for longer usage times, please contact us directly. Outside of bookings, the court can be used freely. The occupancy can be viewed via the app.
